Meditations

Meditation brings wisdom; lack of meditation leaves ignorance. Know what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom. – The Buddha

I offer meditations from 1 minute to 1 hour for the purpose of reducing stress and creating health. I incorporate them into sessions when appropriate, and offer them as special events, such as the Winter Solstice meditation. Research shows that meditation can have a powerful effect on health. I use guided visualizations to create the meditations, using the inner mind to create the other world more easily than hours of therapy.

Regular Meditations, Guided Visualizations, and Journeys

  • Chakra Meditation – an experiential class and meditation on the seven major chakras.
  • Summer & Winter Solstice Meditations – 1-hour guided meditation experiences on the Summer and Winter Solstices – expanding the light into the darkest night of the year in December and appreciating the longest day of lights in June. These remind us of the “turn of the wheel” and use seasonal shifts as power points to maximize the energy available to us at that time.
  • Meditation classes – 1-hour weekly class over a 6-week period to experience the different forms of meditation – from closed eyes; open eyes; guided; silent; with sound and discussion.
